The Minister's Coach

THE MINISTER'S COACH

Ministers:

Fifteen hundred Ministers leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout or contention in their churches.

Eighty percent of Ministers and eighty-four percent of their spouses feel unqualified and discouraged in their role as Ministers.

Fifty percent of Ministers are so discouraged that they would leave the ministry if they could, but have no other way of making a living.

Eighty-five percent of Ministers said their greatest problem is they are sick and tired of dealing with problem people, such as disgruntled elders, deacons, worship leaders, worship teams, board members, and associate Ministers. Ninety percent said the hardest thing about ministry is dealing with uncooperative people.

Ministers' Wives:

Eighty percent of Ministers' spouses feel their spouse is overworked.

Eighty percent of Minister' wives feel left out and unappreciated by the church members.

Eighty percent of Ministers' spouses wish their spouse would choose another profession.

Eighty percent of Ministers' wives feel pressured to do things and be something in the church that they are really not.

As a Marriage and Family Minister of nearly 18 years, I know first hand the burden Ministers carry.

Often you feel:

Overwhelmed, alone, unsupported, and frustrated and that’s on your good days!

During better times, everything seems to be just great. Your church is growing, giving is up and it seems like everyone is on board with your vision until the next fire breaks out, obstacle arises, or leader you raised up raises up against you.

Before you know it you’re completely discouraged while everyone else leaves church encouraged. The, I was encouraged but now am discouraged cycle begins all over again.

Meanwhile, your vision and dreams are placed on pause.

WHAT’S A MINISTER TO DO?

YOU NEED A COACH*

As your coach:

I am your personal change agent.

I draw out of you what God has placed within you.

I empower you to fully realize your personal potential.

I consult your church towards health, growth, and momentum.

I guide you and your people from where you are now to where you want to be.

*For effectiveness, generally our Ministeral coaching services are delivered in conjunction with church consulting services. As your consultant and coach I will serve you and your church in two primary roles:

Leadership Architect—this is where I hear your dream, understand your vision, discover your unique context and provide you with a customized master-plan to release your dreams, lighten your load, and maximize your potential.

Transformational Change Strategist—Successful change begins with an effective strategy eventually owned by all stake-holders. As your transformational change strategist, I provide you with a detailed step-by-step plan. As this plan is executed it lightens your load and increases each leader’s ownership of your vision. This results in vision progression, organizational renewal and health, and heightened morale.

If I’m doing my job, your load will be lighter and you will be released to dream bigger, achieve greater, and live more fulfilled. If not, fire me.
